The charity inbox that was actually a person
When the volunteer leaves, the donors, the files and the domain should still be there on Monday.

The treasurer had the passwords. Then the treasurer moved. The bank letters, the donor list and the domain were all in a private Gmail, and the new committee started from a rumour of how things worked.
Churches and charities rarely need a large estate. They need mail in the organisation's name, a record of who gave or who attends that more than one person can open, and a laptop that still updates when its owner changes.
We set Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace up that way, write down who can see what, and keep a backup a trustee could ask to see. Custom software is only for the register a shelf tool cannot hold. Fewer systems, and nothing that only one volunteer understands.
It is the same clock as any other client. The difference is the design. If the next handover is already making you uneasy, that is the right moment to write.
