A faculty office does not need another portal. It needs the attendance, the module and the staff list to agree, and a mailbox that still works when the person who set it up has left.
We build or tidy that record, put Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 under the people who use it, and enrol the machines so a lab or a lecturer's laptop is not a private snowflake. Backup is proved by a restore.
Training stays in the engagement. If the academic office cannot explain the system, it will be worked around by the second week of term.
